Dental Insurance
Smile everyone. Our voluntary dental program offers you a modular plan that provides you a choice between two plans. Assurant Dental is a free standing plan that allows you to choose your provider. Preventive care is 100% covered.
Flexible Spending Accounts
One of the most powerful benefits today, Flexible Spending Accounts provide you with the opportunity to use TAX-FREE dollars to pay for:

• Uninsured Medical Expenses
• Dependent Care Expenses
These dollars are deducted from your paycheck before federal and state income taxes are calculated. This tax savings increases your take home pay while helping to pay for the other benefits.
Basic Life Insurance
Providing financial security for loved ones is a tough topic. With our Basic Life and Optional Life Insurance benefit programs, a tough topic gets easier. Our Basic Life plan provides $10,000 coverage on yourself, $5,000 for your spouse and $2,000 for each child to age 19. Basic Life is 100% Company paid.
Optional Life Insurance
Our Optional Life plan provides you the opportunity to purchase coverage in $1,000 increments up to 5x annual salary and coverage is available for your spouse at 1/2 the amount of employee coverage. Coverage of $5,000 is also available on all children. This plan also includes Accidental Death and Dismemberment coverage to provide that added level of protection.
Short-Term Disability Insurance
The bills just keep coming even after you are disabled. Our Short-Term Disability provides you with income protection of 67% up to 26 weeks if you become totally disabled. A benefit, 100% paid for by Rice Lake Weighing Systems.
Long-Term Disability Insurance
Our Optional Long-Term Disability provides you the opportunity to continue your protection should you have significant illness or injury.

Funeral Leave

As a good corporate citizen we encourage and support you if you are called to fulfill your civic responsibility as a juror. Our benefit pays you the difference between your jury duty pay and your normal work day's pay.
Educational Reimbursement
Life-long learning is supported at Rice Lake Weighing Systems. Formal course work related to your position can be pursued under our Educational Assistance Program. You are reimbursed 100% for tuition and books needed for the course.
Profit Sharing Plus Manage your retirement with our Profit Sharing Plus Plan. You can save in our 401k while we match 25% on the first 4% of your contributions up to 1% of your total compensation. On top of this, a profit sharing contribution is made by the Company with a five (5) year vesting schedule. Daily recordkeeping of your account and an 800 number makes fund changes easy. Quarterly activity reports and an online investment counseling service helps you reach your retirement goals. |
