ES-111 Fundamentals of Electronic Systems
This 4 1/ 2-day course provides extensive hands-on training on calibration, configuration, and serial interfacing of electronic components, from load cells and indicators to printers and peripherals. Seminar topics include mechanical scale basics, electronic basics, load cell theory/trimming, electrostatic discharge protection and power conditioning, digital weight indicators, load introduction, data collection and troubleshooting.

ES-222 Advanced Scale System Troubleshooting
The principles and theories of ES-111 are applied to in-depth troubleshooting in this 4 1/ 2-day course. Very little lecture, but ample lab work is used so that attendees learn a systematic and methodical approach to troubleshooting. Advanced electronic weighing is part of this course, looking at scale system connection, batching, interfacing, and data recording. Seminar topics include scale mechanics, load cells, indicators, power conditioning, data collection, and troubleshooting process control.

MS-101 Understanding Mechanical Scales
In today’s automated industry, many technicians have never acquired the skills to
service mechanical scales. This class will focus on pivots and bearings, levers, scale

PCEE-101 Introduction to ProAction
This course is a hands-on introduction to the 720i Process Control Engine. Day one covers the structure using conditions and actions to write application programs with ProAction PCEE. Day two focuses on database storage, retrieval and reporting using ProAction DBE. Day three is an optional day used to gain more familiarity with ProAction capability or the 720i indicator.
