Standard Features
Wire Rope Assemblies
- Wire rope assemblies provide better alignment and greatly increase load cell repeatability. In addition, they act as natural vibration dampeners.
Cardinal Wire Rope Assemblies
- EL208 Cardinal wire rope assembly: Used on 7,500 lb capacity FH model and 8,000 lb capacity EP model
- EL209 Cardinal wire rope assembly: Used on 20,000 lb capacity FH and EP models. May also be used on 15,000 lb capacity FH and EP models
Custom Wire Ropes
- When ordering, please complete Custom Wire Rope Definition form and provide a sample if possible, and specify the required tension rating and total capacity
Wire ropes should not be exposed to shock loads, chemicals or twisting. Chains or rods should be used as safety backup in case of catastrophic failure.
