ES-222 Advanced Scale System Troubleshooting

The principles and theories of ES-111 are applied in this 4 ½-day course with a focus on in-depth scale system troubleshooting. The course consists of very little lecture, but ample lab work is utilized so students can learn a systematic and methodical approach to troubleshooting. Advanced electronic weighing is a subject of study in this course, including examining scale system connections, batching, interfacing and data recording. Seminar topics include scale mechanics, load cells, digital weight indicators, power conditioning, data collection and troubleshooting process control.
