For checkweighing in food processing facilities, Rice Lake offers the CW-90X checkweigher. The built-in piezo keypad withstands knife-point contact to handle the harsh demands of production lines. To deal with temperature changes, the PreVent™ breather vent helps regulate the temperature of sensitive electronics and ensure functionality in any environment. The checkweigher’s open base structure minimizes bacterial buildup and keeps cleaning simple.
Rice Lake’s NSF-approved line also includes the RoughDeck® QC-X floor scale. The top plate opens to a full 75° for cleaning and inspection, so every crevice can be viewed and sanitized. The QC-X is designed with flat vertical plates to avoid tubes or channels that frequently lead to bacterial buildup. For above-ground applications, Rice Lake offers ramps with the same construction for easy cleaning and use.
