Data Communications for Scale Technicians Class Description

In this two to three hour short course, you will learn about how communication works at a broad level. This means studying things such as the difference between analog and digital communication, how the binary number system plays a role in digital communications, how digital signals are encoded and transmitted from one endpoint to another, determining how to put a device onto the same network as another device, and some useful troubleshooting strategies.
